About us   
The Seth Mann Home is a small recently renovated, antique farmhouse located on North Main
Street in Randolph, offering short-term care and respite care. There are five private rooms -
each comfortable and bright.  Our residents are encouraged to continue an active lifestyle, while
we do all the work.  Best of all, our residents and their families can take comfort in knowing that
24-hour assistance is always available.

Short-term care
Short-term care is available to those who, following a stay at a hospital or rehabilitation center,
are not quite ready to return to their prior living situation.  Residents who seek short-term care
are often recovering from an illness or surgery and desire peace of mind knowing that assistance
is available 24-hours a day.

Respite care
Respite care residents often come to us to sample our lifestyle before making a commitment.  
Others come to use because their caregivers are vacationing or simply need “respite”
themselves.

Services include:
  • Assistance with personal care
  • Medication supervision
  • Incontinence management if needed
  • Three nutritious meals/snacks
  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry/linen services
  • The promise of a fulfilling lifestyle in a home like setting

The history of the Seth Mann Home
In 1919, a not-for-profit corporation was formed with the intent of creating a rest home for
women.  With an endowment left by Adelaide Elizabeth Mann, the home was established in
October of that year.  The residence was named after Miss Mann’s late father, Seth Mann, and is
maintained on his former homestead in Randolph, Massachusetts.
